What Warning Signs You Must Know?

Water and Additives:

  • Ensure to use filtered water, but don’t use carbonated or non-water beverages
  • Never use chlorinated water
  • Don’t use additives, supplements, flavour and minerals in the bottle. Ensure to use another container for any extra addition.
  • Better to drink your hydrogenated water in 2 hours for better results

Operation and Charging:

  • Don’t run the generator with no water in the bottle
  • Better to charge the unit for only 4 hours, not more than that
  • During charging of the unit, don’t run cycles. Better to charge the unit properly and run 1 to 2 cycles
  • Better to use the 5V 2A USB C port
  • Don’t use charging blocks with high output, such as no light or fast charges

Storage and Maintenance:

  • Ensure wetting of the electrode, and don’t keep the device dry

Initial Setup and Usage Instructions

1.     Charging the Echo Go+:

  • You have to insert the end of the USB C cable in the bottom of the Honest hydrogen Go+ while the other end such as USB A is inserted in the charging section. After that the section is plugged in an outlet.
  • Let the unit charge for almost 4 hours but don’t charge it for a long time because it may damage the battery and affect warranty.
  • After charging, ensure that the charging cable is removed.

2.     Preparing the Lid and Bottle:

  • First of all, you have to remove the lid from the bottle. In the cap, the seal is present already. However the seal you get with the bottle is extra so you may replace it whenever needed. Ensure to keep seal in the safe place.
  • Using the warm and filtered water, rinse the lid of the bottle but never allow the water to enter the pressure valves present in the cap center.
  • Using the warm and filtered water as well as mild dish detergent, ensure to wash casing of bottle before use.

3.     Setting Up the Base/Generator:

  • Ensure removal of the plastic plug from the base and remove the extra water present in it. Never throw off the plug because it is necessary to have when you store the bottle or take it on travel.
  • Now screw the bottle on the generator for a safe connection. To align the bottle properly, check the bottle alignment section.

4.     Descaling the Electrodes:

  • Now you have to add white vinegar in the amount to fill the generator while don’t fill the bottle
  • Add white vinegar, citric acid, water and lemon juice in the generator and soak it for 2 hours
  • Remove the vinegar solution from the generator and add filter water. Then tight the screw of the bottle cap
  • Now press the power button and run a cycle of almost 5 to 10 minutes. This will remove residual vinegar from the generator
  • After the cycle completion, remove the bottle cap and water

5.     Final Rinse and Filling:

  • Assemble the Echo Go Plus and rinse it with warm and filtered water, but don’t add water to the USB C section
  • Now fill out the bottle with water such as RO and distilled water. You may either use well or spring water because of no chlorine.

6.     Generating Hydrogen-Rich Water:

  • Be sure to turn off the device for activation of UV C light. Press the button for almost 7 seconds to hear a beep. It means the light is triggered now and will turn on at each cycle.
  • On the generator front, a power button is present which you have to press before the formation of hydrogen water. Press the button first time for 5 minutes while second time for 10 minutes.
  • After completion of process, drink the water in 2 hours for better results. You may either drink from the bottle or add water in copper free container. As well as you may add supplements, minerals and flavors.
  • After drinking the water, ensure there is no little water to fill the generator. Never keep the bottle with water as it may cause mold and mildew growth.

You may fill your bottle with cold, hot and room temperature water. Remember that hot water may be damaging to generator walls. You may hydrogenate water and warm it on the stove which then remove some hydrogen but it may provide therapeutic results.

Charging

  1. When the unit is uncharged, it indicates the internal and indicator lights as being red.
  2. Check the generator back to find the USB C charging block
  3. Now you have to plug in the USB C cable in the USB A charging port and plug the port into the wall outlet
  4. During the charging of the unit, the OLED battery indicator section will lighten up
  5. Once the charging is completed, you can see the four full bars of the indicator bar, and it will stop lightning.
  6. After completion of charging, unplug the device. Never leave the device on the charge as it may harm the battery and cause heating which then affect the battery, melt the cord and cause fire damage. Remember batteries don’t has any warranty.

UV-C Function

Activating and Deactivating UV-C Function:

Now, the advanced echo water bottles are available with the best 254 nm UVC light that assures the cleaning and safety of your water. When you get the new device, you can see the function is turned off. So you have to turn it on and keep the device running by following these steps:

  • For activation of UVC light, ensure to keep the device off. Then, press the power button for almost 7 seconds and hear the sound beep. Now the UVC light is turned on and will run automatically in each cycle.
  • After turning of the device and activation of UVC light, ensure to check the purple LED light with 3 extra blue LED lights present on the generator top. In the bright lighting, the single purple light will be difficult to see because it will be lighter with other blue lights.
  • For deactivation of the UVC light, ensure to turn off the device. Then press the button for almost 7 seconds and hear the beep sound. When the UVC light is deactivated, you can see 4 blue LED lights during the turning of the device.

Now it is your choice whether you keep UVC light turn off or turn on. If you think that your water is clean and you must save battery then turn of the light. However better to use sterilization method for water cleanliness. After activating the UVC light, it remains on until you turn it off.

Cleaning and Maintenance

Daily Upkeep:

1-    Washing:

  • With the use of mild dish detergent, ensure that the cap and housing of the bottle are washed.
  • Don’t use harsh sponges or clothes, as it may cause scratches on the bottle.
  • Never add soap water or cleanse the generator with this water.

2-    Focus on the Cap:

  • Better cleaning of the cap and underseal areas to avoid buildup. However, gently clean as seals may break
  • Never allow the water to enter the pressure release valves present in the cap center

3-    Important:

  • Don’t keep honest hydrogen Go+ products in the dishwasher
  • Never keep the charging port and electrical areas wet
  • Never soak the cap, as water may enter via pressure valves

Deep Cleaning & Descaling (Once or Twice a Month):

1.     Prepare Cleaning Solution:

In three parts of water, add 1 part of lemon juice, citric acid and white vinegar

2.     Clean the Generator:

Now add this water solution to the bottle and keep the bottle for a night to clean the generator

3.     For Tougher Grime, Mold, or Odors:

Without adding water, soak the bottle in the strong vinegar for 3 hours.

4.     Remove the Silicone Seals:

Now you have to remove the silicon seals from the generator base and the cap

5.     Clean the Seals and Cracks:

Soak the Q tip of the bottle in the lemon juice and white vinegar for cleaning seals and cracks and removing all residues.

6.     Rinse Thoroughly:

Now using the filtered water, you have to rinse the seals and clean properly for removal of cleaning solution.

7.     Replace the Silicone Seals:

Now, keep the seals in the right positions to ensure they fit tight and prevent leaks.

8.     Reassemble the Bottle:

Now, attach the generator to the bottle and connect all components safely.

9.     Final Rinse:

On the next day, remove the cleaning solution and rinse the bottle using warm and filtered water.

Frequency of Cleaning:

  • No/Low Mineral Content: It is better to do regular and deep cleaning once a month.
  • Moderate Mineral Content: Better is regular and deep cleaning two times a month
  • High Mineral Content (Hard Water): It is better to do regular and deep cleaning weekly.

Irregular and improper cleaning of the bottle may cause mold and mildew growth which don’t comes under warranty period. Ensure to read and understand all the cleaning guidelines present in the manual of the bottle.

With regular and deep cleaning, you may keep the bottle in better performance. Also it can enhance the lifespan and quality of the bottle.

Dry Generator or Decreased Performance

Stimulating the generator in the Echo Go+ Bottle:

If you think that your Echo Go+ bottle is not working properly or has been dried out, and you see it is producing small bubbles compared to normal in the hydrogenation cycle, then you need to give shocks to your generator.

Shocking the Generator:

  1. Take a microwave safe container made of ceramic or glass and fill this container with 1 cup of filtered water and keep in microwave for 2 minutes.
  2. Using the hot pad, you may handle the heated container and add the warm water in the device until it gets filled.
  3. Now you have to run the machine for almost 10 minutes per cycle
  4. After completion of a cycle, remove the heated water and add fresh and filtered water into it
  5. Then, run another cycle of 10 minutes, during which you may see the production and performance of the fine bubbles.

Remember that hot water may be harder on the generator and bottle walls, so it is not considered as the best regular maintenance solution.

How to Perform Bottle Alignment?

1-    Spot the Echo Logo:

Check out the Echo Go+ logo present on your bottle

2-    Locate the Charging Port:

Check where the charging port is. Typically, it is present on the left side of the bottle.

3-    Align and Attach:

Keep logo and charging port aligned and twist is counterclockwise for security. Ensure to keep bottle secure and aligned when logo is parallel to power button.

If it is difficult to align at once then try again. You may need some practice to align the bottle properly but overall this don’t affect the performance of the bottle.

Silicone Seal Replacement

Replacement of the silicon seals in the Go+:

Replace the Base Seal:

  • At the generator base, find out the smooth and little ring
  • Using the sharp tool and paper clip, ensure to remove the old seal
  • Ensure cleaning of the areas under the seal
  • Now you have to add a new seal in the slot
  • Tighten the seal with the use of the Q tip for more precision

Replace the Lid Seal:

  • The lid seal is present in the scalloped design
  • For removal of the old seal, use the paper clip
  • Areas under the seal must be cleaned
  • Now, keep the new seal and tighten it using the Q-tip
  • Ensure to screw the lid tightly

Common leak areas and solutions Leaks from generator (base):

·       At the generator base, check the seal.

·       Be sure to attach the seal and keep the seal at the base properly.

·       Be sure to attach the base to the bottle securely.

 

Leaks from the bottom oxygen port:

If you notice a small leak from the oxygen port near the generator base, then you have to follow these steps:

·       Set the bottle upright: Keep the bottle in vertical or upright position as it may release any trapped water.

·       Drain the water: The leak is due to the trapping of water near the oxygen port and bottle bumping. So draining of the water from the bottle may stop leaking.

·       No impact on performance: This leak is not much affective for performance of the bottle. So remember that draining of bottle keep it in proper functioning.

 

Leaks from kid and cap:

·       Ensure that the seal of the lid is inspected to place it in the proper position and condition.

·       Ensure that a single seal is kept in place.

·       Ensure to screw the lid tightly but avoid over-tightening as it may break the seal.

Steps to address leaks Immediate actions:

·       If you see any leak from the bottle, ensure that the seals are inspected to place them properly.

·       Then, tighten all the loose components, including the lid and the connection between the base of the generator and the bottle.

 

Thorough inspection:

·       Ensure inspection of the bottle, generator base and the lid for any type of leaks and damage.

Confirm that you are using the correct charging block. The device requires a 5V – 2A USB-C charging block. High-output or fast-charging blocks may not be compatible and could cause issues.

Troubleshooting a Dry Generator/ Decreased Performance

Dry generator or a Low Bubble Cause If you see that the generator has dried out or you notice there are no generation of bubbles then you need to fix it. It might need a shock during the hydrogenation process.
Shocking the generator to Produce Bubbles You need to follow a step-by-step guide to generate shock for the generator so that it can create bubbles and work properly.
Step 1: You need to place 1 cup of filtered water in a microwave-safe container and heat in the microwave for 2 minutes to make it hot.
Step 2: Not Carefully pour the heated water into your device and fill it to the fill line, using a hot pad to handle the heated container.
Step 3: After that, run a 10-minute cycle with the heated water on your device.
Step 4: Now, you need to discard the heated water and then fill the device with fresh filtered water.

Important Note to Consider

Now turn another 5-10 minute hydrogenation cycle to refresh the performance, but don’t use hotter water regularly as it may damage the device’s membranes.

 

Do not use hot water because it can make the walls of the bottle harder. The method is not suitable for regular cleaning.
